Cool to listen to but

Guitar was WAY to distorted. Once again, take some more focus on your drums and make them stand out. Best part: 1:00 when the ahhs start coming.

Yeah I knew I needed to give it a new way for the song to sound better and feel cool

Bass

Bass Boost could make this a lot better. Your drums don't pop out enough. Also, your choice of interest kind of bored me, but other than that, everything was tight. Try also creating a second rhythm to go along with your first.

Thanks for the review however I just really know how change the instrumentation of the song I haven't but I'll ask my friend for info on that this remix is just to give it a classic sense that mario will have his Revenge and save the MK from those Seven Evil Offspring of Koopa's

Good Work....

Work on your snare so it isn't so distracting though. Make the bass pop out a bit more to.

this is pretty old now. a year old.

thanks, anyways.

Meh

Felt to melancholy, generally when you remix something its funner to listen to, but this wasn't I'll give you a 7 for effort

Brings the original to a whole new level.

Original was pretty decent, but vokills definetly made this one killer. Especially during quiet parts when I felt bored. Song definitely had a boost of epicness after your work. I think, if it was possible, you guys could put together a pretty mean band. To bad live halfway around the world! You have proved one thing: everyone on earth can work together. Through these violent lyrics you've actually sent a message of peace, you know?

Props.

i think that FCDX always intended for this song to have vox. It's one of the main differences between most of his metal tracks and many others on the NG AP... rather than jam together a bunch of wicked, heavy and shit-hot riffs (almost at random) he structures his songs with vocals in mind. Listened to without vox... there's always going to be gaps. I would think... many of the great metal tracks through history would get "boring" without their vox.

Yeah, what a fucker, hey? We live, almost literally, on other sides of the globe. But, you're right... it still works. I would imagine that the collaborative processes we are using now will be the norm for many underground bands and musical works over the world as the Net moves ahead. It's very exciting!

I'm not sure about the peace thing... but it sounded so profound when i first read it! Glad you liked!

Storm, earth, and fire - heed my call. REEEEEEEOW!

Yeah I am going to be a douchebag and type a quote from the song but oh well. Awesome job Devastus, this very well composed. The triplet bass drum beat got my heart beating real fast. I was surprised when I saw Xeno had worked on this, cause it doesn't quite sound like his style you know? I love TBOB's vokills, they matched up to an orc's real well, you know? This whole song felt epic. One thing though, when I listen to this on speakers the bass drum doesn't pop out enough. I think maybe if you gave a little higher, almost clicking noise it would have a greater overall affect on the listener.

Wow, only a few takes?

Man, you need to take some time and realize your true potential some time. As usual, you manage to a really badass job with your vox. FarCryDX is an exceptional artist and I wish he would do more songs like skullfucked and fucking metal. Actual that gives me an idea. Would do a vocalized version of fucking metal? That would kick donkeys into space through the moon!

TheBardOfBlasphemy responds:

actually, i'm working on one of his new tracks as we speak (type, whatever). When it comes to FC's music, nothing is off the table. He's got talent in bucketloads. And it's a metal bucket.

Cheers for all the reviews, you rock!

YEEEAH!

Fucking heavy metal! God, just keep on going. You are so fun to listen to. I really like your peaceful moment around 1:20, it filled in the empty parts perfectly and, I don't know, it's just awesome. That is all I have to say. Just awesome!

hehehe... awesome!!!!

This song already kicked ass..

BUT NOW ITS TEN TIMES BETTER!!!! Man, you have to quit being so good or else I might have to, I don't know, punch you or something. This song got stuck in my. Its full of anger and a little dark humor, which fit perfectly with my personality. Your great ability to work vox into songs amazes me. You are probably my second favorite vocalist on here after CWN. Keep working hard and maybe you can take his place.

TheBardOfBlasphemy responds:

hahaha... well, i'm not sure that it's a competition, but he's a badass and would kick the shit out of me if it came to blows. So he can stay at number 1 after all that!!!

yeah, having said that, you'd need a long arm to punch me. Real long.

I'm glad you enjoyed this one... a lot of work went into it... many evil grins and cackles on my behalf when writing the lyrics. I'm totally going to hell for it though!

Plus, dunno why, but it really is catchy, hey? After just having written the song, I really had to stop myself from singing it out loud in my day to day activities.

I'll make sure to keep working hard regardless :D
stay metal bro

YEEEEAHHHH!!!!

Dude, you are freaking awesome. You always manage to fit lyrics perfectly into any song you do, especially this one. That seems to be hard for some artists. And unlike some vocals you actually didn't detract from the whole experience. Your voice is almost perfect too. I think if you get a really deep metal voice like CWN's you could rule almost any vox you try out. It is obvious that you have had experience, considering all the above. Keep kicking ass!

TheBardOfBlasphemy responds:

yeah, hmmm, i can't really do that flat-out deep as fuck death growl that CWN (and many others) seem to nail to easily. On the flip-side, I'm pretty happy with the way my vox work with the songs I pick on.

Naturally, any vocalist would like a greater range... but I'll take what I've got!

Experience? I've never been in a metal band (unfortunately) and current circumstances would probably dictate that won't change. But I've had plenty of experience singing in my bedroom!!!

I appreciate the comment regarding the way the lyrics fit with the songs. I work hard on that. Plus I've written a lot of poetry and other weird, dark, creepy gear in my time. I think that has helped a lot when I sit down to pen some lyrics.

Cheers for the support man, you rock!!!!
